the kids are often in the backyard by themselves since it's safe and allows me to make dinner without "help." i can hear them playing and look out on them often.
one day i saw eli trying to chuck a toy over the fence, but it didn't make it over and he found something else to do.
a few weeks later, preston was outside with the kids and witnessed eli successfully throwing a ball over the fence. he went around the house to throw it back in and found all of this on the other side....
i apologized to the neighbors who's yard was "decorated" for so long without us knowing!!
