All the supplies have been purchased (they are as pink as possible)...
She has met her teachers (two retired teachers subbing for her actual teacher, who is on maternity leave). Though this isn't the most amazing beginning I could have imagined, one of the subs is the mother of a friend, who promised to look out for Ava without me having to ask.
