ava's friend, danielle, invited her to participate in a father/daughter golf tournament. my heart throbbed just thinking about it because having one-on-one time with the kids is so special! the 4 year old division played 5 holes - alternating shots with their dad.
they wore matching outfits...
the girls LOVED riding in the carts! (probably the best part, in their opinion)...
ava just wanted to run up to the (pink) ball and whack it in any direction. preston helped focus her whacking...
luckily, danielle brought her chunky golf club to help with the surface area dilemma...
it wasn't just about hitting the ball...
though they had to stop being goofy every once in a while to hit the ball...
but then they got right back to goofy...
ava got a special glimpse into her father's favorite game...
and playing with friends makes it so much more fun!
