the garden is growing!! our last two meals have been inspired by our delicious basil! it is quite satisfying to use herbs grown just outside our door. i'm excited for the prospect of eating an actual vegetable (but i won't get my hopes up too high...just in case my green thumb washes off!)i won't be taking pictures of all of our meals this summer, so don't worry....i'm just excited...just this once!

and all this self-sufficiency has my noodle humming...perhaps we could get a cow...
...but then our fridge wouldn't be so colorful!
