my baby girl is sprouting!!

we took ava to kindergarten registration last friday morning.

the teachers took the kids to the kindergarten rooms to be "assessed" and the parents got some information from the principal in the library.

how is it possible that ava is old enough for kindergarten?  (almost.)  how in the whole wide world am i going to let her go?  she carries my heart with her wherever she goes.  that is mostly a blessing, but now it seems possibly really painful.

i have to remember that this next step isn't about me.

just her.

and she's ready.  she didn't want to leave the school.

maybe as august looms closer, i will be more ready too.

God is really going to have to carry me through this one.
