basically it's stifling outside and it's getting a little boring indoors. therefore, i loaded up the kids in the car and took them to the movies (Winnie the Pooh). complete with popcorn. i brought my own bags to make sharing easier!
technically, eli is not old enough for such a long sitting-in-one-place-without-a-buckle adventure, but i made sure he had a couple extra handfuls of popcorn in his bag to stretch his patience. luckily we were one of the only groups in there so when he got up to test out the other seats on our row it wasn't a big deal.
we just needed something special to mix up these long hot summer days and a movie worked!
i forgot to mention we also had twizzlers...the greatest treat ever created!!
