the kids did play!
so i had a relatively intense dinner recipe to put together. usually, i'm outside with the kids in the afternoon, but i thought maybe i could watch them from the kitchen and let them play longer outside. (let's be honest...it's also a lot easier to cook with them out of the kitchen)
i turn my back for a moment and hear squealing...
i did go out there to referee. eli needed to get his big sis wet too. it's only fair!
i also found this evidence of garden vandalism...(ELI!)
perhaps the kids aren't ready to play alone yet?!and then to finish off the day, ava declares she wants to be a rock star, stands up on her "stage" with her fashionable boots, shades and "mic" and asks for rock and roll dance music. then she starts shaking her hips! she's a natural!
