eight years!

for number 8, we spent the night in durham/chapel hill reminiscing. a lot has changed since we lived there. we have to hand it to durham for revitalizing their downtown! after a relaxed dinner and stroll we caught a bulls game. then spent the night in chapel hill at the same hotel we stayed in the night we got married (kinda romantic, huh?!)
we awoke to breakfast in bed (thank you, eatons!!!) and the today show (which we used to watch every morning pre-children but barely watch anymore).

though it was only a 40 minute drive, we felt farther...in a really good, soul-energizing, marriage affirming way.

after 8 years, i easily admit that i love preston more than ever. and i can't wait to love him more and more and more (...etc) in the future!
