a long standing family joke is about uncle john having to be leashed up in the backyard. gram had a clothes line that ran the length of the yard so she tied a rope around john's waste and hooked him to the clothes line! here's proof:

i'm wondering how to finagle some sort of gravity boot that keeps his feet on the floor!!

and to those who feel sorry for poor uncle john...they lived on a corner so safety from traffic was an issue and he turned out pretty great!! no worries!
