i love my big sister. katie and i took a spur of the moment trek to the beach last weekend. it was so nice to get away just the two of us. i think we concluded it had been 8 years since we had been alone together on a trip!! though we needed to get away from our houses for a bit, ironically most of our time was spent smiling down at our family while scrap booking. another irony is that neither of us took our cameras on the trip when that item would have been the first thing in the suitcase if our kids were along for the ride.
