we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this weekend. grammy and grampy played babysitter while we went out for a nice dinner. at dinner we reminisced over the last 5 years and talked about where the next 5 years will take us. it was basically the most romantic date we have been on post-ava, complete with a live jazz trio in the background. the evening wasn't all sap. on our way to greensboro, a huge bug splatted on the car (specifically washed for the event). we laughed again when the date ended sharply at 7pm so we could get ava home to bed. so, i guess to be more specific, it was the most romantic hour-and-a-half that we have had post-ava.
we agree that being married to each other is so much fun because we know we are a match made by God. these five years have been the best in our lives, and we are so thankful that we are able to share life together as best friends.
