saturday morning pancakes

"pancake saturday" became a tradition in our house about the time ava was able to eat yummy bits of pancake. the tradition began one long ago saturday when preston got up early to make a special meal for his girls. since that first morning, preston has perfected the art of pancake preparation and will not allow others to sub in! saturday breakfast seems to be the only meal we are almost always able to eat together as a family. it is one of life's small pleasures that bring us joy as we look forward to our time together throughout the week. so that's how our blog got its name. we intend to share these bits of joy with our friends and family as they come along.
